EDD KEENE - Live at the Are You Listening Festival - Reading 18th April 2015

So.... This weekend coming up, in Reading is a big event that takes part in loads of venues across town. 

It is called the Are you Listening festival and is in aid of raising money for the local Reading Mencap, a local charity that supports people with learning disabilities and their families.
It is not supported by the Government, it raises funds locally and goes direct to helping local people. Fantastic.

This Weekend coming up, in Reading is a big event that takes part in loads of venues across town.

So I am happy to say that I am will be taking part by doing a set at the Macdevits room in South Street arts Centre on Saturday 18th April at 8:30

EDD KEENE + LA MORT SUBITE, LIVE AT THE JAMBOREE 29TH NOV 2014

I have been wanting to play at the Jamboree for a few years now and finally have the opportunity. Twice infact, once with my solo live looping and also on sax in La Mort Subite.

The Jamboree is on Cable street as part of Cable Street Studios in Limehouse, London.

Cafe Cairo review

On Saturday night I got to play at Cafe Cairo for a night put on by Fred Balkayou called Caravan Cairo.
Cafe Cairo is in Brixton, London and is set up as a Moroccan styled bar, housing one of the best alternative venues I have played at in the London area. It is truly worth a visit. Run by some awesomely lovely people and hosting some fantastic events these guys really know how to put on a party. Grab a cocktail, enjoy a shisha, even learn arabic when visiting the toilets... That does make sense, you'll see when you visit the place.
