CLOUD CUCKOO LAND FESTIVAL 2012

Just got back from Cloud Cuckoo Land festival. It was fantastic. Met a Lot of very lovely people.... In fact I think I got to meet everybody! Did a set with La Mort Subite on the Saturday on the main stage and then we all clambered onto the back of a horse drawn cart with our instruments and played a gig whilst being pulled across the festival site, played my green man set on the Sunday and finished off the festi playing for the Under Cover Hippy back on the main stage. I'm not sure if I have ever danced that much in my life, It is a great little festival, I highly recommend going if you ever get the chance.

IT SOUNDS AS IF THIS IS GOING TO BE ANOTHER GREAT FESTIVAL!! 

THE LINE UP IS LOOKING AWESOME. IT IS A GREAT COLLECTION OF ALL THE BEST BANDS BRISTOL HAS TO OFFER, SO I AM VERY PLEASED TO BE INVOLVED.

Secret Garden Party 2012 Review

It may have taken 4 hours of driving and 5 hours of queing and It may have rained on Thursday night leaving the entire festival site the colour and texture of toffee, covered all my instruments in a layer of sludge, and made it imposible to carry them to all the stages I was playing on, but.......
Who cares... What an awesome festival that was!!!
Thanks to the beautiful people of the Small World Crew, the crazy lunatics of the Tax Decductable theatre and the only just discovered People front room, for letting me play on thier stages. And a massive thanks to Guliver for his poetry about Elephants.
Pulling off a gig at five in the morning after drinking my weight in Whisky ( Well... I think I pulled it off ), appreciating the sunshine when it finaly turned up, and adventures filled with complete stupidity, dancing, and turning invisible when required. Good company and... well what else can I say. No need me thinks. Go next year and you'll see why it's the best festival in the UK.

Well..... That was pretty muddy. I drove 250 miles yesterday to Beatherder festival with my mate Skoobie to play a gig on the Smokey Tentacles stage. We got there to find to lot of very muddy but smiley people. It didn't seem like anyone really cared about the sludge, which is always a sign of a good festival, or trashed people.
It was pretty awesome. Was a good gig. Shame I didn't get to stick around though as we had to drive back the 1million miles pretty much straight away afterwards.
Just as we were on the last stretch of road, at about 3.30am we hit a deer....! It rolled over the corner of the car and disappeared in to the hedge row. We stopped and went to go see if we could find it, Skoobie gets hungry pretty easily you see, but it legged it off when we got close, so I guess it must have been o.k... Lets hope so hey...
Anyways... I'm gonna be playing on the Smokey Tentacles stage again at Secret Garden Party at some point over the weekend it is on, so if your there and happen to stumble past while I am playing, come and say hello. :)

Not sure what the filling is yet but when I know I shall put thier name on this event page. :) Sooo..... The Blagrave. The owner, Norman, was telling me how they have some really awesome deals on thier drinks at the moment. I know they sell a good range of ales also, and the bar lady is very lovely, so come down and visit me at the Blagrave. I will dedicate a song just for you....Tell stories about stuff that doesn't really exist, but are full exciting adventure! Action! Romance! Come watch the amazing dancing drunk person and join in the competition for those who can dance the hardest, longest and most out of place to whatever song I play at that time...!! I will love you forever for coming. And you think I am joking.... No... I will!!!
